Generator for my school in Ukraine

Dear friends, the time has come when I ask for your help. This request has nothing to do with my job and is my private initiative only.
As you know, Ukraine is still suffering from the terrible war that russia brought to our land. russian troops cannot defeat the Ukrainian army on the battlefield, so they barbarically destroy the country’s energy system, letting the civilian population suffers from the cold and lack of electricity and water this winter. 50% of Ukraine’s energy system has already been destroyed, and a complete blackout is approaching the country.
My mother still lives in Ukraine. She is a deputy director at the school I graduated from Bila Tserkva town, Kyiv region. Children are still studying in this school. Unfortunately, long-term power outages lead to electricity cuts and simultaneous heating outages in the school. During air raid alerts (almost every day), children spend 4-5 hours in the school’s bomb shelter, where it is essential to have electricity and the opportunity to warm up because the weather in the city is already freezing and it’s snowing.
I understand that I cannot save the whole country, but I want to help this particular school, which will help hundreds of children and their families. I studied in this school, I grew up in this area, and I am grateful to my teachers for whom I became.
So, I am asking you for help raising funds to purchase an electric generator for this school.
The generator will enable:
– to warm children and adults staying in the shelter during air raid alerts (it is possible to connect special fan heaters to it);
– to charge mobile gadgets to continue using them to conduct lessons in the shelter and to be in constant contact with relatives and friends. From my experience, I can say that there is nothing more important in this situation than being able to receive an “I’m safe” message from your loved ones.
After consulting with specialists, I found that we should purchase a Hyundai DHY8500LEK-T diesel electric generator with a capacity of 7.5 kW and a cost of 2,800 Euros. So, I’m opening a fundraiser for a total of 3,500 Euros (which will also help cover the cost of logistics)

Любі друзі, настав час, коли я прошу вашої допомоги. Як ви знаєте, Україна і досі потерпає від жахливої війни, яку принесла на нашу землю росія. російські війська не можуть перемогти українську армію на полі бою, то ж вони варварські знищують енергосистему країни, щоб мирне населення цієї зими страждало від холоду, відсутності світла та води. 50% енергосистеми України вже зруйновані, в країні наближається повний блекаут.
Моя мама досі живе в Україні. Вона працює заступником директора в моїй рідній школі у м. Біла Церква Київської області. У цій школі і зараз навчаються діти. На жаль, тривалі відключення електропостачання призводять не тільки до відключення світла, але й одночасного відключення опалення у закладі освіти. Під час повітряних тривог (майже кожного дня) діти перебувають по 4-5 годин у шкільному бомбосховищі, де дуже важливо мати світло і можливість зігрітися, адже в місті вже морози та сніг.
Я розумію, що не можу врятувати всю країну, але я дуже хочу допомогти саме цій школі, яка буде допомагати сотням дітей і їх родин. Я вчилася в цій школі, я виросла в цьому районі, і я вдячна моїм вчителям за те, ким я змогла стати.
Тож я звертаюсь до Вас з проханням про допомогу у зборі коштів на придбання електрогенератора для моєї рідної школи.
Генератор дасть можливість:
– зігріти дітей і дорослих, що перебувають у сховищі під час повітряних тривог (є можливість підключити до нього теплову «гармату»);
– зарядити мобільні гаджети, щоб продовжити проводити з їхньою допомогою уроки у сховищі, та бути на постійному зв’язку з близькими і рідними. По своєму досвіду я можу сказати, що немає нічого важливішого в цій ситуації, ніж можливість отримати повідомлення «Я в безпеці» від своїх рідних.
Після консультацій зі спеціалістами я зрозуміла, що ми маємо придбати дизельний електрогенератор Hyundai DHY8500LEK-T с потужністю 7.5 kW та вартістю 2 800 Євро. Тож я відкриваю збір на загальну суму 3 500 Євро (що допоможе також покрити вартість логістики)
